The process from birth to 12 months of your foals is a critical period for growth and development. Nutrition plays the most important role in this period. In this process, the body structure of your foals needs to build on a solid ground. In the first 12 months of your foal, it forms 95% of the bone structures of maturity period. The determination of growth rates is proportionate to the nutrient content, nutrient quality and feeding arrangment.
Bone and cartilage structure should be supported in every period of your foal. It is very important to balance of all the minerals, mainly calcium and phosphorus as much as the quantity in the feed. Mineral supplementation of our feed is provided by Alltech Bioplex.
Because the digestive system of foals are not very well developed, they need to eat foods that are intense but comfortable to gring. Light fiber sources and oils plays a very important role here. The soybean oil that we use in our feeds includes plenty of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
